Why should you take protein?

What is lactose intolerance?
Lactose, also known as "milk sugar", is a complex carbohydrate, accounting for about 2-8 percent of the dry matter content of milk. We mostly need lactose during infancy, so it's not uncommon in adulthood for your body to not produce any of the enzyme lactase, which is needed to break down lactose, causing lactose intolerance. Today almost 75% of the world's population suffers from lactose intolerance.
