Jarrow Formulas Milk Thistle contains a concentrated extract of milk thistle (Silybum marianum), designed to nutritionally support normal liver function.

Each vegetarian capsule provides 150 mg of milk thistle extract in a 30:1 ratio, standardized to contain 80% total flavonoids. This yields 120 mg of flavonoids per capsule, including silybins, isosilybins, silychristin and silydianin, which make up the complex known as silymarin.

Milk thistle has been traditionally used and studied in relation to maintaining normal liver function. The standardization of the extract ensures a consistent and defined amount of flavonoids in each capsule.
