Citrulline Malate is a combination of the non-essential amino acid L-citrulline and malic acid. This duo works synergistically to enhance muscle function.
Citrulline is a precursor to arginine, which increases levels of Nitric Oxide (NO) in the blood. This causes vasodilation, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to reach the muscles. Malic acid, for its part, plays a key role in the Krebs cycle (the body's energy production), helping to produce ATP and reducing the accumulation of lactic acid.
- By increasing nitric oxide, blood flow to the muscles is improved during exercise.
